Overview

Sterlington Law is a client of Ghost Digital and Data, where I work as a web developer. I redesigned the site on a custom WordPress theme built with ACF, and I have maintained and optimised it since.

Challenge

An image-heavy site, with loading problems to track down — such as a loading issue on the Team page, reported in August 2026. [VERIFY: what the old site needed fixing before the redesign]

Solution

The work came in four parts.

  • Custom theme

    A custom WordPress theme with ACF fields for the redesign.

  • Images

    Image optimisation across an image-heavy site.

  • SEO

    SEO and Google Search Console [VERIFY: scope].

  • Performance

    Tracking down slow loading (LCP), such as the Team page's loading issue.
